Primary School Uniform

Most Montessori schools do not have a standard uniform. In this school however, the children have indicated that they do want a uniform mode of dress. This is supported by the teachers and many parents mainly because it supports the value that ‘the person is more important than what he/she wears.’

The uniform is fairly standard for boys and girls, the only difference being the shorts for boys and skorts for girls.

Wearing a uniform is compulsory. Uniforms must be ordered from the office and worn on every school day.

Orders

Payment:
Please note that the order must be paid for when placing the order as the school must pay the supplier when placing your order.

Badge:
MSM will continue to have the school logo embroidered on the items that are out of supply and out of necessity bought from other stockists such as Woolworths, at the cost of about R75 per unit.  This includes embroidery on jersey, pullover etc. Embroidery will be done in minimum batches of 10 items.

Late Orders:
Important: Suppliers will no longer accept orders that are given to them after the cut-off date.

Delivery/turnaround time:
Please allow for 6-8 weeks

Exchange Policy:
Under special circumstances exchanges can be made within 7 days of receipt of uniform if we have stock.

Sizes and lengths:
When ordering, please choose the correct size shown below each item on the order form to avoid our order being delayed. The length of skorts, shorts and track suit pants are as follows:

  2. Download the Primary School Uniform - Order Form.
  3. Fill the form in.
  4. Email the form together with proof of payment to office@morningstarmontessori.co.za or click here.
